Evaluation

Both the process and the product will be evaluated in the course (that is, the ideas as well as the use ofPetanque language), and this will take place through many sources and not only through tests (Gouvernement de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador, Ministère de l’Éducation, 2010). On the final exam, for example, the ideas presented by the student should be worth 60% of the exam, while the student’s language use should be 40%. As for the format of the exam, half of the exam should consist of recall and comprehension, while the other half should focus on application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation (Gouvernement de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador, Ministère de l’Éducation, 2010, p. 44).
